Not at all. Our workshops provide guided step-by-step instruction in a relaxed environment. Just come ready to have fun and we will get your creative juices flowing!
We offer a variety of events that accommodate different age groups. Please refer to each scheduled event for details on any age restrictions.
Each session varies depending on the type of event. Please look at each individual date to confirm pricing for that event you want to register for.
We provide aprons, however loose sleeves that can be rolled up are recommended as you may get paint on your hands or clothing. We use acrylic water based paint and it typically does come off with soap and water however, we are not responsible for damages caused by any paint you may get on your clothing.
We recommend you arrive 15 minutes before the event begins to allow time for you to check-in, get settled and relax prior to painting.

Please include as much information as possible in order for us to serve you better. We will send you an email confirmation if the date is available or work with you on other options. Once confirmed a non-refundable deposit will be required.

Choice of a painting:
The Most important part of your event. Choose a painting from our gallery. Have an idea of your own? For an extra fee, we can create it for you. Custom paintings are done by Nicole Brown, the owner of Brushed Chicago and a professional painter who can turn your idea into a masterpiece on canvas! And the best part is we teach you how to do, it step by step.
Clean-up and setup with all materials:
From start to finish Brushed Chicago will have everything ready for your event the minute you and your guests walk in the door. After your event is finished you will be at ease knowing Brushed Chicago will cleanup everything, to ensure you have a relaxing enjoyable event. we provide: Table cloths, napkins, brushes, paint, easels, water cups, aprons, sound system, music and a canvas to take home.
Music & Microphone:
If you would like to play your own music please let us know, we also have our own sound system. If you would like us to play our sound system please let us know if you have a preference on music, we can create a customized playlist.
